Due to the closure of ATV studios in Hong Kong, the government are looking to find a new television content distributor. They are looking for new original content to be aired and will base their decision on the success or failure of a new pilot program that can appeal to a Local/International, Asian or Western audience. The news channel aims to target audience attraction relating to current trends as of 2018.

The HK government requires a finalised pilot script which can be of any genre, but must have wide appeal given the terrestrial nature of the television channel.
​
The commissioning slot available is a 6 to 8 episode long, 22 minute series.
